Dr. James Hardie is originally from Ironwood, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University. He graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University in 2010.
Dr. Hardie was the recipient of the Michigan Optometric Association’s Young Optometrist of the Year award. During his time at the Ohio State University, he received the College of Optometry’s Graduate of the Year award and the Vision Service Plan Nexus award for ophthalmic dispensing.
He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, the Toledo Area Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, the Bedford Business Association, Bedford Lions Club, and the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce.
His volunteer activities include Vice President of the Bedford Business Association, Past President of the Elite Referral Partners, Past Zone governor of the Toledo Area Optometric Society, and Trustee for the Michigan Optometric Association.
Dr. Hardie’s interests include sports, travel, community involvement, and Spartan athletics.
Dr. Holly Hardie is originally from Gaylord, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University. She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2010.
Dr. Holly has served on the Board of the Toledo Area Optometric Society and is an active member of both the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Holly is our vision therapy specialist having received significant training in helping adolescents and adults with vision needs. Great Lakes Vision Therapy is located within the Pinnacle Eye Group location in Lambertville.
In her spare time, Dr. Holly enjoys visiting family in Northern Michigan, traveling, and cheering on both the Spartans and the Buckeyes with her husband James. The Hardies have two young children and enjoy living in and serving the Monroe County community.
Jordan is a Bedford native and graduated from Bedford High School in 2013. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo in Exercise Science. She will be graduating with her doctorate in 2021 from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA.
Jordan completed extra training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in an advanced studies program, specifically focusing on ocular disease of the anterior segment. She has a passion for treating dry eye and caring for patients with low vision. In her free time, Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband Mitchel, a soon to be podiatrist. She also enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
